Geology

Cetallion's main landmass is situated slightly to the west. This main landmass is a vertical stretch of land partially separated by three rivers. To the far east there's two large islands. The planet's vast oceans are dotted with smaller islands.

Environment

Cetallion soil is soft and muddy. It's infested by the planet's native spores, which are extremely hostile to most foreign plant life, such as trees, wheat, carrots and potatoes. They are, however, complacent with melons, pumpkins and sugarcane. Many young mushrooms coat the surface of Cetallion, overshadowed by their larger, more mature, counterparts. These towering mushrooms are speculated to have been there since the birth of the planet and have slowly leeched all nutrients from the planet, allowing only one land animal to survive. This nutrient deprived soil has decomposed over the years and become clay, found primarily near Cetallion's rivers, and on it's abundant island coastlines. Scientists are still baffled as to how Cetallion manages to maintain an hospitable atmosphere seeing as there is no vegetative plant life to photosynthesize. The primary theory is that with the amount of spores released by the planet's overwhelming mushroom population, the spores create a barrier, or artificial atmosphere, while the soil renews it's oxygen supply as it decomposes.

Biosphere

BoleShrooms

As was previously mentioned, the planet's sole land inhabitant is the aptly named "Mooshroom" cow. These mutated cows have adapted to feed off of the decomposing soil and filter feed spores from the air. They are host to a family of mushrooms. Their thick hide and spore ridden milk make them a valuable animal. Under the water, however, squids have found life. They feed off of special aquatic fungal life, and can be harvested for the decomposing spores found in their stomachs and used as a cheap alternative to ink.The towering mushrooms constantly dump spores creating a blanket that covers the planet. These spores can sometimes be seen close to the ground being emitted from the soil. If harvested correctly, the thick mushroom caps and stems of ancient mushrooms resembles the makeup of polymer, and can be used as such in the creation of ships and turrets.
